The trees look sad.

Why are they looking so sad?

Because it’s cold outside.

They want to be inside but they can’t.

That’s so sad.

Why can’t they have a house?

Because they’re so big, that’s why.

I want to make a house for the trees.

But I can’t.

Now I’m so sad too. I just want to make a house for the trees.

So who can help me make a house for the trees?

One day I ask God.

He said, “They can’t have a house.

Because they do not feel cold. You just said that because YOU don’t like cold and snow.”

God said to me one more time,

“Sarah, they’re just trees. Do not worry. They’re just trees. They do not feel anything.

“They are good where they are.”
