Eliana Al-Konsul is a rising senior majoring in psychology and anthropology, with a minor in theater. She worked on creating mental health educational materials to address immigrants’ unique needs associated with COVID-19 and the vaccine.
Sadie Basila is a rising junior majoring in politics and economics. She worked on creating
educational materials about the COVID-19 vaccine.
Ashka Jhaveri is a rising senior majoring in politics with a minor in French. She worked on developing culturally appropriate educational materials surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine, studying racial and ethnic disparities in health care, and creating a youth vaccination campaign
Zoe Wynn is a rising junior majoring in politics with a minor in Spanish. She worked on tracking bills that aligned with MIRC’s policy priorities during this legislative session.

Jayde Biggert started at MIRC as a Bates College intern in 2019 and then re-joined the team in June 2020 for one year as a program associate. She served as the point person for social service support for COVID-19-impacted families. Jayde is now in New York pursuing a master’s degree in social work, however she continues to be connected with MIRC as a volunteer.
