Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project (ILAP) is currently open to requests for intake appointments from
• Asylum seekers with cases in Immigration Court whose one-year deadline is in 90 days or less
• Survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking and other crimes
• Young people who may qualify for a special type of legal status
• People needing help with basic immigration forms
• And others with urgent cases
ILAP has developed a new online intake request form, available in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. To learn how to complete an intake request online or via phone, click here: https://ilapmaine.org/
All individuals seeking ILAP’s help must first request an intake appointment. Because ILAP is a small organization, it cannot always help everyone who contacts the office. But all requests for help are reviewed and staff will do its best to reply within 3 business days.
