Are you interested in a career in education?
Lewiston Adult Education will provide a free orientation and training program for those interested in working as a substitute teacher in Lewiston. The training is from August 8 to August 11 and will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Adult Learning Center, located in Longley Campus, 145 Birch St. in Lewiston.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have work authorization, access to college transcripts and diplomas, and complete and pass an English skills assessment. Potential substitutes will also need to be fingerprinted before they can apply to work as a substitute teacher.
