Join Hope Acts at Cove Street Arts in Portland on September 21 at 7:00 p.m. for ‘Dancin’ with Dylan,’ a benefit fundraiser with The Bob Band that will feature music, dancing, art, food, and beverages.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the organization’s ongoing work assisting asylum seekers throughout the state.
In the last year alone, that work has included:
- 2,833 new client intakes
- 5,081 client meetings
- 1,221 completed work permit applications
- Individualized housing education for 839 households
- Helping 106 households secure housing (268 people: 161 adults & 107 children)
- Providing housing at Hope House for 20 adults (13 simultaneously)
- Helping 327 households complete applications for asylum (380 adults and 166 children).

- Teaching English classes for over 350 students.
