Last night’s murderous shooting spree resulted in 18 people who have died and 13 who are injured, according to the Lewiston Police Department, the Maine State Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), who held a joint press conference at 10:30 a.m. on October 26.

The suspect is Robert Card, aged 40, who has a history of mental health problems. He is considered armed and dangerous and is still at large. A shelter in place order remains active for areas surrounding Lewiston, as well as Lewiston itself.

If anyone sees Card or someone who resembles him they should not approach. Instead, they should call 911 or a tip line. The FBI said that the public should stay vigilant and come forward with any information they feel may be helpful. At the moment, law enforcement does not know where Card is.
